About us

Slyne Head AC is an all inclusive athletics club that is based in Ballyconneely, Co. Galway. We launched on Friday the 12th of September. Membership is open to all aged 5+. We are volunteer run so always looking for new people to help out. If you have any expertise - or if you don't - we would love you to get involved.

Training

Monday and Wednesday 6pm Cross Country - Commonage by the Golf Club

Monday and Wednesday 7:30pm Couch to 5k in the Park

Saturday 12 noon U18 training - Ballyconneely Community Centre.

Couch to 5k

Want to get fit but don't know how to get started? Join us and go from the couch to running your first 5k and have fun doing it.

The sessions start on Monday 15th at 7:30pm. They are about an hour long including warm up, cool down and stretching. There will be another session on Wednesday at the same time. If you want to join us, you need to register with Athletics Ireland.
